Three new lab members and a new patent

MACS welcomes three new lab members. They are Fabio Sorvillo, Dan Wang and Hui Xiao.  Fabio Sorvillo earned his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cooper Union in New York and master degree from  Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne. He has been working at General Dynamics – Electric Boat. His research interest is Robotics and Control Systems. Dan Wang earned her bachelor degree from Shandong University and master degree from Tsinghua University.  Hui Xiao earned his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University, his research interest is Robotics and Mechatronic systems.  They will pursue their PhD degree here, welcome!


Also, we are pleased to announce that we have a new patent to appear in 2015:

Minghui Zheng, Xu Chen, Haiming Wang, Young-Hoon Kim, Wei Xi, and Kuang-Yang Tu, “Data storage device comprising slew rate anti-windup compensation for microactuator,” US patent US9007714, April 14, 2015.
